There is an extremely unique exhibition about the Earth in the capital of Austria, in Vienna. The exhibition is already shown from this year November and it will be open until next year March.

This exhibition shows a wide range of different satellite images of the Earth. The exhibition focuses on mostly the impacts on the planet by humans. At the exhibition visitors have the chance to see our planet from a totally new and unexpected perspective for the very first time. The exhibition displays over fifty large format satellite images of the surface of Earth and its beautiful landscapes, seas and mountains. Along side all the beauties of Earth there are also shocking pictures of the human settlement, mining, agriculture, energy and traffic as well. The exhibition shows how the human race changes the natural surface of the planet and how it is influences the upcoming generations lives. The exhibition Human Footprint is on display at the Naturhistorisches Museum Wien in Vienna. The exhibition is held from 5th November 2014 to 8th March 2015.

One Direction concert in Vienna

The band One Direction is on a world tour from 2014 until 2015. One Direction is an English-Irish pop boy band including Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson.

They signed a contract with the record label Syco Records after they finished third at the singing competition The X Factor in 2010. They came out with four albums the first one was Up All Night in 2011, the second album was Take Me Home in 2012 and their third one was Midnight Memories in 2013. So far they achieved great success and they received several awards including four Brit Awards, MTV Awards and multiple others as well.

Nowadays One Direction is one of the most successful and most popular bands on the whole world. Their latest album Four was released in 2014. One Direction is on a tour now with their latest album and they are giving concerts all around the world from North America through Europe to Australia and Japan as well. They will also be giving concerts in Singapore, Thailand and so on. In Europe they will perform in countless countries and cities such as the UK, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany.

In Austria the concert will be in Vienna. In Vienna the concert will take place at Ernst Happel Stadion. The concert will be held on Wednesday 10th June in 2015. Tickets for the concert are already available at WorldTicketShop.

Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna

Eurovision or the Eurovision Song Contest is one of the most popular and watched non-sporting events in Europe. Eurovision is an annual song competition and it has been held since 1956. The countries that are participating in the contest are the members of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU).

The European Broadcasting Union was formed in 1950. Each year every member country submits a song to perform on live tv and then the votes from each countries will decide which one is the most popular song in the competition. The Eurovision is the longest and most popular running tv shows in the world. The winner of the Eurovision has the opportunity to further their career. Several artists and bands started their career at one of the Eurovision Song Contests including ABBA who won the contest for Sweden with the sing Waterloo in 1958, Celine Dion for Switzerland who won with a French song in 1988 and the latest winner of the Eurovision Song Contest was Conchita Wurst from Austria who won the contest last year in 2014.

Every year the winner country has the opportunity to be the host country of the next Eurovision Song Contest and this year in 2015 the Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Austria. It will be the 60th annual Eurovision since the first show. The show will take place in the capital of Austria in Vienna after Conchita Wurst won the contest last year in Copenhagen in Denmark with the song Rise Like a Phoenix.

Eurovision Song Contest 2015 dates and venue

The semi-finals of the Eurovision will be held on 19th May and 21st May in 2015 and the final will be 23rd May in 2015. This will be the second time Austria will be the hosting country of the contest the first time was in 1967. Every year the contest has a theme or slogan, last year it was #JoinUs and in 2015 the slogan of the Eurovision Song Contest will be Building Bridges. Austria is participating in the contest since 1957. For the competition in 2015 so far 31 countries confirmed their participation including Serbia, Cyprus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Spain, France, Germany and so on. The deadline of the application to the contest was 15th September in 2014. In Vienna the competition will be held at Weiner Stadthalle in 2015.

In this article we will list the five best restaurants in Vienna according to the list of Gault and Millau. Gault and Millau is a French guide which rates the different restaurants on a 1-20 scale. In this article we will list only the best 5 which got at least 17 points.

The best restaurant according to Gault and Millau in Vienna is definitely the Steirereck im Stadtpark which got 19 out of the 20 points. It is important to know that it is nearly impossible to get 20 points. The restaurant is located in the beautiful Stadtpark of Vienna and the restaurant architecturally is stunning as well. This is not one of the cheapest restaurants in the city. The delicious and the attractively served meals, the wines and the friendly and helpful service are what it takes to be the best restaurant of the city.

The second best restaurant from the list is the Silvio Nickol Gourmet Restaurant Palais Coburg. This restaurant only got 18 points out of the 20 which makes it only the second best restaurant in Vienna. The restaurant is located in the central of Vienna. The design of the restaurant is beautiful with a relaxing atmosphere. They have a wide range of dishes and pairing wines to choose from. All the meals are incredibly delicious the service in the restaurant is fast and friendly. It is a highly recommended place to everyone for a romantic dinner, business meeting or just a casual dinner or lunch.

Marz & Sohn restaurant is the third best restaurant in the city according to the list of Gault and Millau. The restaurant is located near to Leopoldstadt area. It is a really nicely designed restaurant with excellent dishes and wines. The service in the restaurant is friendly and the place has a unique atmosphere. It is a highly recommended place and it has great reviews from the visitors as well. It achieved 17 points out of the maximum 20 points.

The Vincent restaurant also got 17 points out of 20 from G&M. The restaurant is based also in the area of Leopoldstadt. It is important to know that in the restaurant there is no menu card. You choose the number of courses you would like to eat and the chef just prepare the dinner for you. You can choose from international, seafood or traditional dishes. Fast and friendly service and the most delicious meals are provided in this restaurant.

The last restaurant from the list is the Konstantin Fillippou restaurant. It is one of the most popular restaurants in the city with an excellent service and friendly staff. The restaurant’s design with the wooden floors and minimalistic style is just stunning. They have a wide range of meals to choose from. The dishes presented beautifully with the most interesting combinations of spices and ingredients which makes the food especially delicious and unique. What is life like in Vienna on Christmas Eve? Are most restaurants closed, or are they open? Do people go out to eat, or are they at home with their family instead?

First og all thank you for the question! Christmas is a very important holiday in Vienna, and that is why Austrians like to spend especially Christmas Eve together with their family and best friends. And as you asked, they almost always do this at home, in their own houses. That is why restaurants are often closed, because the employees are at home celebrating Christmas as well. However, those who come to town as tourists also need a place to eat on Christmas Eve, and that is why there are some exceptions, that is, there are some restaurants that remain open also on Christmas Eve.

One general rule is that it can be useful to book a very nice hotel in Vienna on Christmas Eve, because the best hotels in Vienna have nice restaurants, and they keep them open, also on Christmas Eve. Bryan Adams concert in Vienna

Bryan Adams is a Canadian singer, songwriter, musician and producer. He is best known for his husky vocals and his real energetic performances. He has been one of the most successful and well known musician in the world of rock. During his musician career he sold over 100 million records which made him one of the best-selling rock musicians of all time. He had his biggest breakthrough in his career when he released his album Reckless in 1984 which brought him ultimate success. Bryan Adams is on a world tour from 2014 until next year 2015. He is on tour with the Reckless 30th Anniversary tour and he will perform in several countries all over the world from North America through Australia to Europe. Velázquez – Exhibition

Diego Velázquez was a Spanish painter and he was the leading artist of Philip IV. He is one of the most important and most outstanding painters of the Spanish Golden Age.

He was truly an individualistic Baroque painter of that time. He is best known for his portraits. He worked for and painted portraits of the Spanish Royal family and other European figures. His most famous art work, his masterpiece is the worldwide known Las Meninas which he painted in 1656. In 2014 the first time visitors will have the chance to explore Velázquez paintings in Vienna. This exhibition represents a wide collection of Miro. Joan Miro is a Catalan Spanish painter, ceramicist and sculptor. He was born in 1893 and he died in 1983 in Barcelona.

In Barcelona there is a museum dedicated to his art work which was established in 1975. He is a really well known surrealist painter and he became one of the most popular painters in the 20th century. At the exhibition visitors will have the chance to have an insight look in the life of the painter and to experience life through the way he saw the world around him. The exhibition covers over more than 100 paintings, drawings and other art works that shows the real characteristics of surrealism. His paintings and art works have a carefree and spontaneous style.

Joan Miro’s paintings have typical and unmistakable characteristics. The exhibition you can see his most famous art works The Farm, the Metamorphosis and the Landscape. His most recognizable elements in his paintings are the moon, the stars, the sky, insects, birds and women. The Miro exhibition will take place at the Albertina museum in Vienna, Austria. The exhibition will be held from 12th September 2014 until 11th January in 2015.

Schönbrunn Christmas Market 2014

In Vienna the Christmas Market will open its gates in 2014 again to the visitors. The Christmas Market Schloß Schönbrunn attracts around 1 million people every year from all over the world to come to Austria during the Advent period and get in the Christmas mood.

Each year the market’s popularity just grows and it became one of the most popular one in Europe. This year the Christmas Market will be held from the last weeks of November. At the Christmas Market visitors will have the chance to enjoy the handicraft markets and the best quality hot wines and Austrian foods as well. More than 80 exhibitors from Austria and other neighbor countries will present their traditional handicrafts and foods such as the Christmas decorations and the best hot wines, beers, sausages and several other specialties.

Rathausplatz Christmas Market 2014

The annual Viennese Christmas Market will be in Vienna again in 2014. It is a really popular event before Christmas and thousands of people come every year to enjoy the atmosphere of the market and the Christmas feast.

It is one of the largest tourist attractions and each year more than 3 million people come from all around the world to do their Christmas shopping, drink some hot wine and eat some Austrian specialties at the market. The most famous Christmas Market in Vienna takes place at Vienna Rathausplatz each year since 1975. During the years the market grew itself out to one of the biggest Christmas Markets in Europe and it attracts around 500 000 people from abroad and the number of the visitors are just growing every year. This year the Viennese Christmas Market will be held from the middle of November around when the Advent season will start this year. Visitors at the market can enjoy the best hot wines, cotton candies and the best Austrian food while they look around enjoying the original charm and beauty of the market doing their pre-Christmas shopping.

The Christmas Market will come to Vienna from 15th November until 23rd December, the market will be open daily from 10 in the morning until 9.30 in the evening and on Fridays and Saturdays it will be open until 10 in the evening. 24th December the market will be open until 5 in the afternoon.
