Spring is here and finally the season of fantastic spring and summer concerts’ time too. Lauds of unmissable programs welcome interests in several points of the world, for example in the capital of Austria, Vienna. Besides the lots of big names there are a smaller one at the start of the summer in the Austrian capital, she is the talented violin artist, Lindsey Stirling.

Lindsey Stirling was born in California in 1986, but she grew up in another state, in Arizona. Her parents always supported her, so she started violin when she was five. The lady with unbelievable musical abilities combines perfectly the art and classic of violin with the today modern music. When she was a competitor of the 2010 America’s Got Talent Show, she had a nickname, the hip-hop violinist. But she doesn’t color only hip-hop music with her violin play, she use another fashionable genres, for example rock and different electronic music, like dubstep. Lindsey Stirling started her own YouTube channel in 2007, she shares her newest music with her fans here. Like most of the young talents today, she can thanks her success for the Internet too.

He picked the Bruno nickname was given by his father and he added the word ‘Mars’ after that. Before he became a successful artist, he was a well-known producer and song writer; he worked for example with Flo Rida, Adam Levome or the Sugababes. As a singer his first appearance was in B.o.B.’s song, the Nothin On You, which released in May 2010, and after that he sang on Travie McCoy’s big hit, the Billionaire. His debut album released in October 2010, the Doo-Wops & Hooligans and it leaded the album sale lists in several country, and he sold six million copies. In December last year he released his newest album, the Unorthodox Jukebox, and there are almost 2 million sold copies in the world.

Roger Waters Vienna 2013

Everything has started in 1965, when Roger Waters, Syd Barrett, Richard Wright and Nick Mason formed the Pink Floyd. Their first album was already a great success, and the Pink Floyd became the most popular British music band next to The Beatles. A little time later Roger Waters became the major song writer of the band, for example he wrote the today classic The Wall album. He has started his solo career in 1985; he released three studio album, two concert albums, a selecting album and an opera.

George Roger Waters was born near to Leatherhead in Great Bookham in 6 September 1943. His father was a school teacher, a peaceful Christian and a member of the English Communist Side. He died in Anzio in 1944, when little Roger was only five months old. This occasion influenced most of his works, like The Wall album.

In this year, the summer of 2013, Roger Waters will start his European tour, to makes his fans happy with his music. The tour’s one stop is no other, just the capital of Austria, the famous city, Vienna. The concert’s date is 23 August 2013 in the Ernst-Happel Stadium.

Vienna always offers some fantastic program opportunities to the tourists, so it would be not “just” the concert of a live legend, it could be an experience. Be a part of the miracle in this wonderful late summer time and make the August unforgettable! Have a good time!

Eros Ramazotti concert in Vienna 2013

Austria’s capital, the pictorial Vienna has given home to lots of talents trough years. Just like to the Italian singer, Eros Ramazotti.

Ramazotti was born in the suburb of Rome in 1963. The first time when he succeeds, was in the music festival of Castricaro with the song Rock’80 in 1981. After that he sighed up with the DDD records and he moved to Milan. From that he always succeeds.

He made lots of famous duets with talented artists together, like Andrea Bocelli, Tina Turner or Cher. His newest album has released in November of 2012. The album premier concert tour will start in the spring of 2013. Its one stop will be Vienna in 10 April 2013 in the Wiener Stadthalle.

The Wiener Stadthalle is one fantastic stadion in Vienna. It was built in 1958. Its capacity is 16 thousand people. Among other things, it’s famous because the man handball European Championship of 2010 was here.

If you would arrived to Vienna before the concert, there are several interesting programs, so you don’t have to get bored in your hotel room, when you are not exactly in Eros Ramazotti’s concert. Vernal walks near to the Danube or a view to the famous buildings are fantastic programs to everyone. Taste the Mozart chocolate or the Sacher cake, and have fun!

Mick Hucknall Vienna 2013

England is the country where the best bands and artists are born and go towards success. From the several names let’s talk about just one: Mick Hucknall. Perhaps not everyone knows that name, but when we saySimply Red, I am sure everybody immediately remember the red, curly-haired singer, who has dazzled his fans with his soft, wide-ranging voice.

Mick Hucknall was born in 1960, Denton, England. He was three years old, when his mother left the family, so the little Mick was brought up by his father. Hucknall met only three times with his mother in his lifetime.
We can say, his music career can has started at a Sex Pistols gig in 1976, Manchester, after that Hucknall and a few friends formed the Frantic Elevators. A few years after the initial success, the band was renamed after the singer’s red hair to Simply Red. The group after 25 years and 50 million sold records broke up in 2010. The singer, Mick Hucknall two years later, in 2012, published his first solo album titled American Soul, which collected all of his favorite songs.

Who is the guitarist who played in The Yardbirds, John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers, Cream, Blind Faith, Derek and The Dominoes? The answer is simple: Eric Clapton.

But who is he? He is one of the best guitar players in the world! In high school, he was the bad boy, later he was going to be that talented musician, who was inducteed three times in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. His nickname is „slowhand” and he is from England. In 2013 he is going to start a world wide concert tour, to show everybody, it doesn’t matter how old are you, when it’s rock and roll or blues.

He is a 1945 natal British citizen. His mother was 16 years old when she gave birth to him, because that, his grandparents acted like his parents, and his mother was like his sister. The truth came to light when his real mother has got married and moved to Canada. Eric was just 9 years old. These happenings sealed his fate for a life.

He was always interested in music, especially the blues. He was 13 when he has got his first acoustic guitar, and he has thought play on it without any teacher. He played in the Yardbirds between 1963 and 1965, in the John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers between 1965 and 1966. The Cream-era started in 1966, but because of the band’s short life, it was over in 1968. After he made music in a lot of bands, he started his solo career in the early 1970s.

He is an active musician today too, and one of his tour stops is going to be a beautiful European city, Vienna. Everybody, who can, buy a ticket and enjoy the show of a live rocklegend from the first line. Have a good time!

Rihanna Vienna 2013

On July 9th at 19.30 the amazing singer Robyn Rihanna Fenty will enter the stage in Stadthalle in Vienna. She is probably better known with her artist name Rihanna, but born in 1988 Robyn Rihanna Fenty has had an amazing career so far and she was listed by Times as one of the 100 most influential persons of our time. She is also one of the most popular singers alive today, so you can expect it to be packed as Rihanna comes to Vienns to perform in Stadthalle on July 9th in 2013.

It might be that Hard Rock Cafe has not come to Vienna yet by then, so why not rock around with Rihanna instead? Celebrate the Norwegian national day in Vienna together with Bon Jovi in 2013. Don’t get it? Pink Vienna 2013

Pink live in Vienna in 2013 — Pink Vienna 2013

There will be a lot of cool concerts and events in Vienna in 2013, but one of the best and most popular concerts will for sure be the Pink concert on May 9th in Stadthalle! For some of her biggest fans this will be a chance to see her twice in two days, as they will come to Vienna on May 9th to listen to Pink, and then they will move on to Prague to see her again on the concert in O2 Arena in Prague on May 10th. Tickets for both of these concerts, and also all other Pink concerts in 2013 can be found on the pages linked to at the bottom of this article.

P!nk is one of the most popular artists of our day, and this is very well described by the fact that her newest album named The Truth About Love went to the top of the Billboard lists at once, and the album sold almost 300,000 albums in the first week it was released (order it from Amazon.com)! This album was also released after a short break when Alecia Beth Moore relaxed at home and gave birth to her beautiful child Willow. The Truth About Love was the sixth studio album from Pink, and maybe her best so far.

Still we hope that some of her old hits will be played as well during her concert in Vienna. The best way to prepare yourself for the concert is to listen to Pink albums at home, both old and new, and thus you can sing along whatever song she decides to sing.

If you come to Vienna because of Pink, why not take your time, book a nice hotel, eat some food in a good Vienna restaurant and of course take a look at the most important attractions of the Austrian capital. It is a beautiful city, worth spending a day or two here (at least).
