Cafe Landtmann is located next to the Rathausplatz, next to the Castle Theater by the Ringstrasse in district 1. It was founded in 1873 and for example Sigmund Freud, Gustav Mahler, Peter Altenberg, Felix Salten and Emmerich Kálmán have been drinking coffee here. Cafe Landtmann is almost always packed up, something we dont understand as the food is nothing special and neither is the service. We have long time ago forgotten the food we ate at Cafe Landtmann!
