Mick Hucknall in ViennaEngland is the country where the best bands and artists are born and go towards success. From the several names let’s talk about just one: Mick Hucknall. Perhaps not everyone knows that name, but when we saySimply Red, I am sure everybody immediately remember the red, curly-haired singer, who has dazzled his fans with his soft, wide-ranging voice.

Mick Hucknall was born in 1960, Denton, England. He was three years old, when his mother left the family, so the little Mick was brought up by his father. Hucknall met only three times with his mother in his lifetime.
We can say, his music career can has started at a Sex Pistols gig in 1976, Manchester, after that Hucknall and a few friends formed the Frantic Elevators. A few years after the initial success, the band was renamed after the singer’s red hair to Simply Red. The group after 25 years and 50 million sold records broke up in 2010. The singer, Mick Hucknall two years later, in 2012, published his first solo album titled American Soul, which collected all of his favorite songs.

The spring of 2013 brings the American Soul album experience’s live version to Europe. The concert tour’s one stop is going to be the pictorial Vienna. Do not miss Mick Hucknall’s concert in the Konzerthaus, in the capital of Austria, Vinne, 23 March 2013. Have a good time!
