The Museum of Fine Arts, or the Kunsthistorisches Museum, is located in the heart of Vienna. The museum was opened around 1891 and this museum is one of the most important and interesting museums in Europe.

The museum has a wide selection of various artworks and a big collection of paintings as well. In the museum, there are plenty of exhibitions during the whole year and the Museum of Fine Arts has permanent and temporary exhibitions. At the museum apart from the painting collection you can find coin, sculpture collections and also Greek, Roman, Egyptian and Near Eastern, antiquities, decorative arts, and library collections as well.

At the museum, there is also a cafe and a restaurant for visitors. The restaurant is open every Thursday in the evening from 6.30 until 10 in the evening and the cafe is open every Sunday from 11 in the morning until 2.30 in the afternoon. The entrance fee in the museum is 14€ for adults, 11€ for senior citizens and for students, 10€ for groups. The Kunsthistorisches Museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 in the morning until 6 in the evening and on Thursdays it is open from 10 in the morning until 9 in the evening.
